On your own computers. Our servers do the sign-in and help your computers find each other. If a network blocks the direct way, our relay passes the chat on. We do not store your chats or files, and we host no AI models. If you use an AI model in the cloud, your question goes to that provider, under your contract with them.

No. You install the app, select a folder and invite your team. Your team uses the browser. For a server that runs day and night, there is a setup with one click.
The tools on that computer stop until it is on again. All other computers continue to work. Tools that the whole team needs all the time are best on a server.
